Absorption heat pump

If an economizer (ECO) and an absorption heat pump are also integrated into a heating plant, an additional heat yield is possible and fuel consumption is reduced accordingly. For hot water boilers (105 °C flow temperature), this means an increase in efficiency of approx. 20 percentage points, which corresponds to an additional heat yield of 20 - 25 %. For a hot water boiler requiring testing (150 °C flow temperature), a further 5 - 10 percentage points increase in efficiency can be generated. This corresponds to an additional heat yield of 30 - 40 %.
